The /boot/config.txt file needs to be edited with lcd_rotate=2 to turn the screen the right way up. This mod replaces the locking stand plates reversing the orientation of the legs allowing the screen to be the right way up so the power cables connect at the bottom and eliminating the need to edit the /boot/config.txt file.
