Raspberry Pi Stand for Octoprint

Simple but functional stand for positioning Pi camera and holding the Raspberry Pi too. YOU WILL NEED: 1/4 inch rod, metal or wood should do 1/4 inch drill bit (unless your printer can print perfect holes) one #6 wood screw The base is hollow and when filled with sand provides great stability. Instructions Assembly should be pretty much self-evident. The only potential area of difficulty is the fit of the 1/4 inch rod within the 1/4 inch holes. I used a 1/4 inch drill bit was used to slightly ream the holes for a smooth, perfect-size hole for the rod. In my case this provided enough friction to hold the parts in place, but still allows sliding along the rod axially. The base is designed to be filled with sand for greater stability, and when used in this way it is very stable.
