Raspberry PI to CG1500 Mount

Raspberry PI to CG1500 Mount

thingiverse

Mounts a Raspberry PI into a CableGuard 1500 (CG1500) enclosure. This was designed to work with a Raspberry Pi 3B or 4 models. The best spot is the left side under the PSU giving you access to the USB and ethernet ports and the right side open for other hardware. Screw holes are purposefully small allowing you to create your own threads for mounting the PI. The 30mm fan model is great for the distro boards and will mount below the PI. The 60mm fan will stand vertically and will fit between the PI and the PSU in a CG1500. It is tight between the PSU and fan but there should be enough room for airflow and has been enough to drop 10c on the PI's CPU. The fan needs to be mounted to the frame after the controller is screwed into the CG1500. Just a couple regular fan screws in the top two mounting holes is more than enough to hold it in place. This was made to work with the MicroCYB M4-PI Cape mounted on a RPi. It should work with most other RPi Capes as well, like the M16 Distro Controller along with other brands/vendors M4-PI 4-Port Pixel Controller M16-PI Distro Controller
