Raspberry Pi Zero Enclosure with audio amp option

thingiverse

This is yet another remix from an original design by egil, an enclosure for a Raspberry Pi Zero. The design is in OpenSCAD and is fully parametized. The two scad files listed here are in fact the same file with different options set. The same file can be used to print enclosures for a standard Raspberry Pi Version 2/3 simply by changing the option "pi_zero = 0" in the scad file. The scad file also allows for fitting various add on boards, and terminals/openings in the enclosure. An example is shown here where an add on PAM8403 audio amplifier card is included attached to the Pi Zero with an i2c DAC card from pimoroni.com. The PAM8403 is an incredibly cheap and small audio amp with quite acceptable performance IMO. For my project I used software from the Rune Audio project which does not officially support Pi Zero, but a user has provided a software image which works great.
