Raspberry Pi Zero LCD brackets

Raspberry Pi Zero LCD brackets

thingiverse

This Thing provides a pair of brackets to mount an I2C-enabled 16x2 LCD display on a Raspberry Pi Zero. The clips should hold the LCD & Pi Zero securely without needing adhesive. There are two versions of the files. BracketR and bracketL are slightly asymmetrical - these are the originals I used to mount the LCD to a Pi Zero fixed to a small USB hub as shown in the pictures (the Pi Zero is not quite centred on the hub). BracketRs and bracketLs are symmetrical alternatives where the LCD is centred with respect to the Pi Zero. Please use one pair or the other, but don't mix them! The Pi Zero SD card can be changed without removing the brackets. Depending on their orientation, it may be necessary to bend the I2C connector pins on the LCD backpack as shown in photo 2. I also recommend using a level shifter to connect the 3.3V logic of the Pi Zero to the 5V LCD. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 2 - Expert Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 0.2 Notes: There's very little infill in the prints, so this can be set to a low value. The STL files include a disconnected 'blob' to prime the extruder as well as blobs on the corners to aid adhesion to the print bed. Post-Printing You may need to clean up the 'blips' to allow them to slide onto the Pi Zero and LCD pcbs.
