Rat Rig V-Core 3.1 Improved Induction Probe Mount

Rat Rig V-Core 3.1 Improved Induction Probe Mount

thingiverse

An improved version of the stock Rat Rig V-Core 3.1 induction probe mount. If you've built a Rat Rig you already know that getting the lock nut inside of the probe is next to impossible. Also because of how the original only mounts near the rear of the print head, the probe can flop around and/or get out of plane with the bed. This modified version of the mount attempts to correct both issues. There is now a hole that will allow you to use a longer M3 screw to pull the lock nut into position effortlessly. I also added another mounting arm that should make the entire mount more rigid. Unfortunately that arm prevents you from printing the piece like you would the original, however you should have minimal issues printing it flat. You will need minimal supports for the front edge but you can get away without them for the main body (where the probe inserts into).
