A gear with an internal ratchet that is designed to drive one way but not the other. The design is made to be 3D-printed, and the goal is to develop a miniature, locking, silent ratchet for use in space constrained spring drive systems.V2 is the first printed version, and it has potential but it doesn't ratchet because the flexible sections are binding.
