A Ratcheting spool and arm assembly I made for a project to raise and lower a table using this paired with some string and rollers. I cut the mounts that the spool goes though out of wood, but you could 3D print those also if you wanted I suppose. You need supports on the spool and the arm, but not on the other parts. I printed all parts at 100% fill for structural integrity, since I used it to raise and lower a pretty heavy platform. The little eyehole is for if you want to attach a string or something to the pawl to make it easier to pull back. It was for a solar water heater project, hence the embossing, but if you want an arm without the embossing, just let me know/comment.
