Rawlinson headstone from the Oak Grove Cemetery in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This is most likey the marker for one (or both) of the Rawlinson brothers, Joesph E and William H, who immigrated to La Crosse, WI from Cheshire, England. Both brothers knew the trades of brick-laying and plastering and may have built in La Crosse: The La Crosse Opera House, the Edwards Block, Levy’s Block and flouring mill of Listman and Co.
