For my raspberry pi 4 I am using a passive cooling heat sink aluminum case which prevents connecting any hat, so a 90 degree GPIO extender is used to be able to connect a Razberry Z-Wave hat, but then the hat is exposed, and to protect it a slide-in sleeve case was created.
