I bought the Rail Junglecat a while ago, but I have always felt that its ergonomics could be improved, so I decided to design my own accessories to make it more comfortable. Print instructions: Rail: For this part, you would not need any support. When you print, oriente it upwards and have the rail openings face upwards. In terms of infill, 30% will do just fine, I printed my final version in 100%, and it caused the rail on both sides to be slightly wider, which resulted in a very tight fit, it will take more force to plug/unplug the controllers, but they stay well secured. The diameter of the two screw holes on the back is 2.5mm, which is set for using M3 screws, and the depth is 10mm. Grip: For the grip, if you want to print it whole, you can orient it downwards, so the opening for controllers to slide in is facing downwards, and you will need to support that area as well as the screw port on the back. However, if you want to achieve a smoother finish, you can split the model in two, as shown in image 4; I split mine above 10.5mm beneath the top two tips. This way, you can print the grip in two separate parts and glue them together. Other materials: You will need a pair of M3 screws to fasten the rail part onto the grip. If you don't have tapping tools, then you can use self-tapping screws. I tapped the screw holes first and used M3*10mm machine screws, and you can buy them on Amazon. Feel free to let me know how it can be improved, for this is still the first version!
