RC Boat 540 Motor Mount Spacer

While fixing an old RC boat, the motor and propeller shaft were out of alignment, making it impossible to use a solid coupler without encountering severe vibration. A flexible coupler allowed things to run smoothly, but the motor would no longer line up with the motor mount plate, so a spacer was necessary. The spacer I made is 11.25mm thick and lines up with the 25mm hole spacing of a 540/550 size RC car/boat motor. Lay it on either flat side to print, and scale the thickness accordingly to suit your needs. After some testing, I would recommend printing it using ABS or PETG. I made the originals out of PLA, and it worked well until the motor warmed up and started to distort the spacer.
