RC Boat Dimensions of boat: approx. 57cmx27cm Minimal printer volume: 165.5mmx140mmx170.8mm Support required for: Body_part1, Rudder_part4 (other parts either do not require support or the support is part of the model) Infill: 10% for both covers. Printing material: PLA glue: cyanoacrylate based (works for me) finish: Acrylic spray paint - helps to make the floats waterproof (white on pictures) Notes: Coupler x4: I paused the print at 4.8mm height and inserted m3 nut in the coupler then resumed the print (be sure that the nut is completly covered in already printed part) . Feel free to glue the coupler to the float and the body instead. The reason for the nut is to have possibility to switch different body (i.e. screw instead of propeller) or replace a single float when something brakes. Rudder: is mounted on hinge and holds in correct place by rubber (the idea is: if it hits something it should not brake the rudder or the whole body). If you do not want the hinge mechanism for rudder, just glue Rudder_part3 and Ruder_part4 together. Receiver and ESC are mounted by double sided duct tape. Servo has its own holder, which is glued to Body_part1. Battery is put in place with velcro (approx. in middle of the boat in my case). Electronics I used in the build (mostly leftovers from other projects): Motor: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-aerodrive-dst-1200-brushless-outrunner-motor-1200kv.html Propeller: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/8060-electric-propellers-white-5pcs-bag.html Servo: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hxt900-micro-servo-1-6kg-0-12sec-9g.html ESC: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingr-tm-brushless-car-esc-30a-w-reverse.html Transmitter&Receiver: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/quanum-2-4ghz-3ch-pistol-grip-tx-rx-system.html Battery: Lipo 3S 1300mAh Other materials used: m3x25 srew and m3x20 screw for rudder 4x (m3 nut and m3x10 screw) to hold together body and floats push rods D1.0mm (min 20cm length) Pushrod Connectors Linkage Stoppers: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/linkage-stopper-m3x2xl11-2mm-10pcs-set.html
