On my RC truggy I was tired of changing the rod end assembly because of hight wear rate. That was altering the precision of my suspension and direction. So I decided to make me a pillo ball rod end that is adjustable on the fit with the ball has it is wearing out. It fits onto M5 rods (forced threading), the ball portion is slited and maintainned close on the ball with a m2 bolt. It is by tightening more or less this M2 bolt that the play with the ball is adjusted. I have made mine in PLA+ and had no failure since a year, even during the ice cold winter.
