found accurately setting suspension tie rod lengths on my wltoys r/c car to be really annoying and fiddly. created the jig to accurately and repeatably set the length of the rods. usage: one end of the rod goes in the recess in the block in the base and is held in place with a 2.5mm screw. depending on the orientation of the knuckle at the other end of the rod, one of the two mount blocks is slid in next and the other end of the rod is held in place using a second screw. the stop block is then slid in and the required length set by tightening the screw in stop block. the rod can then be extend until the mount block hits the stop block. printing: printed with pla. the walls of the slot in the base are 3mm thick so walls for that part should be 2mm to ensure the slot is strong enough. can print the other parts with whatever settings work best for you.
