DESCRIPTION Simple Control Horns for Rc planes, specially designed for 5mm foam board planes. Should work for 3mm foam board too. At its thickest place its just 2mm, so it has practically no infill. You could print them in 100% infill and it would be ok. It is necessary to re-drill the holes where the pushrods go to de desired diameter. When it prints it will print aprox. 1mm holes. The aproximate weight of one single control horn is 0.7 grams. I use them on my foam board planes. For placing them on the plane you must use some type of glue. I just use hot glue. The design has some holes to improve adhesion. They are stiff enouhg, and printing them on the flat side makes them stronger than others printed on the vertical orientation. PRINT SENTINGS Printed on Anet A6 at: *All measurements are in Celcius and Milimeters and can be seen on one of the images above. YOU MUST TURN 90 º THE CONTROL HORN ON ITS BOTTOM WHEN PRINTING, SO THE FLAT SIDE IS TOUCHING THE PRINTING PLATE. For better adhesion on non heating beds or just an extra bit of adhesion, you can use brims. 50 mm/s speed Nozzle at 215 degrees Bed at 50 degrees 0.2 Layer Hight (mm) 0.4 Shell Thikness (mm) Retraction ON 0.6 Bottom/Top Thickness 25% Fill Density
