RC Engine Cover for OpenRC Go-Kart Thanks for the many downloads! And also many thanks for the posted maked ones! Version 2 is online now! It is not compatible with the old version if you allready printed one! Because of that i removed all V1 Files! If they are needet, just pm me. *** This is a Cover for 540 standard RC Motor. It is Designed as an IAME Kart Engine. *** <p>3D Printed Parts:</p> <ul> <li>Basic Body</li> <li>Cylinder</li> <li>Spark</li> <li>Spark Plug</li> <li>Exhaust</li> <li>Manifold</li> <li>Exhaust Holder</li> <li>Carburator</li> <li>Filter</li> </ul> *** <p>You need:</p> <ul> <li>2x M2 5mm Screw</li> <li>2x M2 20mm Screw</li> <li>4x M2 threaded rod 27mm or 1 longer rod which you need to cut in 27mm pieces</li> <li>4x M2 Nuts</li> <li>1x M5 Nut</li> <li>Glue for your Material (you dont need the screws, if you glue all parts)</li> </ul> *** <p>Optional:</p> <ul> <li>30mm Fan (24mm hole to hole and maximal 10mm high)</li> </ul> *** <p>Before Assembly:</p> Print all Parts in the List below Cut the M2 threads into the Basic Body (Optional) Cut the threaded rods to 27 mm *** Assembly: 1. Glue the Basic Body and the cylinder together. 1. Bolt on the carburetor with the M2 20mm Screws (or glue) 1. Screw the first Manifold Screw in the basic body (M2 5mm) 1. Mount the manifold 1. screw in the second manifold screw (M2 5mm) 1. screw the threaded rods into the Basic Body 1. Optional Step / Put your 30mm Fan into the Cylinder 1. Insert the Spark Plug into the cylinder head 1. Screw the spark plug with the M5 nut 1. Put the wires of the Fan trough the hole of the spark plug 1. Put the cylinder head on the cylinder 1. Screw the cylinder head on with the nuts 1. Glue the manifold and the exhaust together 1. Mount the Kart Engine over your motor 1. Slip on the exhaust holder 1. Slip on the air filter 1. Have fun with this awesome mod :P </ul> *** <p>Update 09.05.2020</p> <p>It has been changed in many ways -The motor is now about 10% larger so that a 30mm fan fits in the cylinder -The fan cable is led through the spark plug -the inside of the housing has been reduced so that the motor holds better -the air is soaked true the cylinder head and comes out on the carburetor and the axle -the air fan and the cylinder head is hold through 4 head screws -The carburetor can be screwed on with m2 screws -bigger clearance that you can drive maximum pinion gears -the spark plug now has a plug</p> <p>If interested, updates will come!</p> <p>Things i can imagine: <ul> <li>Iignition coil</li> <li>Air Box</li> </ul> <p>Post a Made one :) I really would love to see it!</p>
