#####This is a 3d printable version of the Klingberg Flying Wing.##### #####Important!##### ######Download the latest version of the files before printing.###### #####Order Prints Here:##### https://aerofred.com/details.php?image_id=100155 #####About:##### This is a 1.3 meter model, fully printable on 200mm by 200mm by 180mm volume 3d printers. #####Specs:##### Span: 1240mm Print weight:320g Area 19,2 dm2 #####Recommended Gear:##### 3s1800 or 3s 2200 or 4s 1300 28mm outrunner or 32mm outrunner 5 grams servos Corona digital MG 5 dollar servos from HK ######At 620 grams the wing loading is 32,2 g/dm2.###### All Up Weight as a glider 400 grams?? I haven´t tested that yet. All Up Weight with motor and 3s 2200 Battery less than 600 grams I´m including in this listing all the STL files, 5 sections per wing panel plus hatch, servo covers and hatch covers. The KW was a glider and could have a pusher motor, they used a .10 cox I think, we will use an electric 28mm or 32mm diameter. #####Notes:##### At this time I´m releasing a slope glider version that has a gear pocket where a 3s 2200mA/h battery can be fit, soon I´ll be releasing a pusher motor pod that will be glued on top of the wing as can be seen in the print screens. You can start printing before the pod is out because it will be made to glue on the wing skin as seen in the pictures. I have not flown this wing but it was made over the original plan, the airfoils are the same, the washout, the angles, all the same as the original, only 1,3meter instead of 2 meter span. I´m also including in this listing factory files so you can print tune the settings to your printer and Gcode files for a 200X200X180 mm direct drive machine, will work on an original Prusa or any similar machine. ###The C.G. is from 54% to 62% of the chord length from the leading edge### #####To do:##### Skid Maybe a tricycle landing gear #####Ordering Prints:##### I´ll be offering prints of this wing for anyone interested, will add that listing to the site in the next few days as possible. https://aerofred.com #####File Naming:#### W-wing WL-Wing Left SPC-Servio Pocket Cover HC-Hatch Cover HCLR-Hatch Cover Left Right A-Aileron MP-Motor Pod #####Change Log##### 3/3/2018 1.Corrected one of the wing gcodes, the bed temp was 56 instead of 60C. 2.Added all separate gcodes. 3.Included files for a prototype with 1 meter span I did before this final version. 4.Addedthe servo pocket covers in stl, gcode and .factory formats 4/3/2018 1.Added the motor pod 8-3/2018 1.Added splitted stl´s for 150mm on Z machines. 10/3/2018 1.Added the skids 8/4/2018 1.Added the complete left wing and aileron. #####Launching this Wing##### This catapult seems interesting: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2746753 The hook has that strange rectangular shape because the point closer to the front is at the begining of the c.g. interval and the point closer to the back is a little after the c.g interval. The idea is to trim or fill it according to needs. I confess I don´t know much about bungee launching, never did it. So I came up with this solution. Will it work? I guess you guys will find out... #####I hope you like this printable flying wing, one of my favourite FW of all time.##### #####Please submit your makes to Thingiverse and post your questions and ideas on the comments, this will help me to improve the design.##### Video thanks to Mikael Christensen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQqAVZXcaUs
