RC Plane snow skis

Skis for your planes so you can fly in the frozen winter! I live in Maine, so flying in the wintertime means snow. Obviously, skis had to happen. I've tweaked these to the point that I'm pretty happy with them. They look scale-ish and fly well. The only thing I'd say is that when landing, you might need more up elevator than you're used to. They are designed to be held on with rubber bands over the wheels and "sprung" with either a cut rubber band or elastic thread for the front and back to keep the skis at the correct attitude. Be sure to take them off when you're done flying so the rubber bands don't deform your tires. I printed these in PEGP but I can't see how it wouldn't work in PLA. Supports are only for the lugs that the rubber bands fit over to keep it on the wheel. I've been flying with these for two winters now and they work really well. These were designed to fit 70mmx20mm wheels (2.75 in x .75 in) but can be scaled easily to fit smaller wheels.
