RC Plane Tail Steering Wheel

This is my remix of the RC plane tail steering wheel remixed in Tinkercad from Jkilby's tail wheel. Original credits at the bottom. I replaced the wheel with Qrome's 54mm wheel and tire. I made the wishbone taller to fit the wheel and I replaced the wishbone and rudder guide connections with threaded posts to prevent the wheel from falling off. Lastly I raised the height of the fuselage plate to add clearance for the threaded post. Assembly: 1. The wheel and tire are two pieces, I printed the wheel from PETG and the tire from TPU. 2. The wishbone connects to the wheel using a screw as the axle. Insert the wheel in between the wishbone and slide a screw through. Tighten it until it squeezes the wishbone just enough to remove excessive play in the wheel, but not too tight to constrict the wheel from freely rotating. I added a 2nd slightly smaller nylon nut which formed new threads tightly enough to prevent the 1st nut from backing off. 3. The fuselage plate is needed for support. Slide the hole on it down onto the post on the wishbone. You will see the bottom of the threaded post is smooth so the plate can freely rotate. Secure it loosely with a nut but keep it freely rotating, but tight enough to prevent excessive movement. 4. Next, slide the rudder plate onto the threaded post of the rudder guide and secure tightly with a nut, the rudder plate should not spin in the hold of the rudder guide. 5. Slide the other whole of the rudder plate onto the threads of the fuselage nut. Secure tightly with a nut so the rudder plate is fixed to the wishbone. The wishbone and rudder should move in unison, but the fuselage plate should rotate freely. 6. Glue the fuselage plate to the bottom of the fuselage and the rudder guide to the rudder. Make sure the wishbone post is centered directly under the axis rotation of the rudder.
