RC Voice Box

Many thanks to morecat_lab for the universal project box. This was my first introduction to OpenSCAD and for that I am grateful! I find OpenSCAD fits my design style much better than other tools I have used. Check it out! The basic box became my starting point. I sized it to fit the chosen PCB (60mm x 40mm with 56mm and 36mm mount holes), added a 29mm mount point for a speaker (along with a pattern of holes), holes for an audio jack, control buttons, and indicator LED as well as the power switch. The last two holes for access to the USB port and dfplayer SD card were trickier to place because they depend on the position of the parts, but with a bit of fiddling I think it's pretty close now. The drawing is of the final revision. The photo is my last, complete and fully functional prototype version.
