# This is a work in progress! # This is a RC wheel wash for all us home makers out there. Someone else markets something like this, but I figured I could design my own and make it myself. I print at 100% infill for strength, but you could try less... 06-01-2021 UPDATE: Added Plates for front and back of wash container. You can use them as drill guides and mount them as part of the system or just use them as guides. Mount the bottom of the plates 10mm above to top of the bottom brush bristles. Epoxy the two parts for the 1/8 tires together. I use a M4 or M5 rod inside for extra strength. Epoxy a M5 threaded rod into the short course/rock crawler end. You may need to drill out the hole. 1/31/2021 So far, I have: - The 17mm hex shaft that is for 1/8 Buggy and 1/8 Truggy wheels. It requires the 11.5mm screw end shaft. UPDATE: I have been using a M4 or M5 threaded rod inside the two pieces and epoxying the two together for strength. - The 12mm hex shaft is for 1/10 Short Course. It requires an M5x100mm-150mm threaded rod. You must cut the threads yourself. UPDATE: I have been drilling the hole larger and epoxying in the rod. Other parts I purchased are: - Plano plastic ammo case - (3) wood back acid brushes - 1/2" socket adapter for quick change drill (fits in the drill adapter) - M4x10mm screw and large washer for attaching the handle to the manual crank.
