RC Wing Skid Plate

This is a skid plate you can screw to anything, but I built it to affix to the underside ends of a sheeted wing of an RC airplane so that if your landing is not idea, or you turn too soon and your airplane tips due to narrow landing gear, it will protect the underside of the wingtips. I heated the middle section slightly with a heat gun and bent it just a tad so that it contours perfectly to the underside airfoil of the wing. Very easy to install. You can use this in foam also, If you put glue on the underside holds and also on the screws.
