Tricopter or mini tricopter broke a boom? Can't get woven CF box section booms any more? I had that problem after getting my V4 caught in turbulence and then losing an argument with a signpost. I snapped the tail boom in half. You can use 2 part epoxy to glue these onto the ends of CF10mm tube (got mine on amazon, but most places dealing in CF should carry this) and then it will let you mount the tilt mechanism onto the back of the boom without it twisting and getting misaligned. Do the same at the other end to stop it spinning around in the frame. I only needed to put these on one side of the tube, and used the table to keep the flat parts of the adapters aligned on both sides while the epoxy cured. I've so far test hovered this and it seems pretty solid, so should be fine for a more extended flight once the weather improves.
