Re-loadable Mutoscope/Flip book

thingiverse

Here is one of the many early devices of the motion picture; the Mutoscope! this is a modified version of the Flip-it! the 3D printed rotary flipbook by rubixcube6 so one is able to open and close the frame to remove/insert Mutoscope rolls. thus making it interchangeable! I am stikk trying to figure out how to format the image itself in GIMP, but i'm still learning how to use that program, so do check out rubixcube6's version which includes 2 animations as well as templates. If anyone can tell me how to edit that in GIMP it would be much appreciated! I had to do mine by hand, its not the best, but I can still make out Hat Kid doing her Smug Dance! NOTE: The Double sided Snap-latch needs to be printed four times to connect all sides. I also recommend that you use a very thin nail file to file through the grooves of the latches so they can fit.
