Re-usable practice bullets
cults3d
I was ordering rubber/plastic bullets online that are used in "primer-powered" only ammunition. with ammunition at an all time high, I wanted to continue to practice safe handling and do a little target practice without breaking the bank. Consequently,. They have enough power to be accurate to about 25ft, but not much further. It goes without saying all safe firearm handling should be practiced and these should only be printed by knowledgeable persons familiar with ammunition reloading. I use spent casings or "unprimed brass". I use a "de-priming" and "priming" tools to remove and insert a new primer and then the bullets simply push into the empty casings. under no condition should any additional reloading powder be used. I designed these to fit 380ACP, 9mm, 38special, or 357magnum cartridges. The low power nature of these loaded cartridges will not cycle an automatic action, and would require manually cycling the action for each shot. Revolvers require drilling out the primer pocket to about an 1/8" of an inch as to not "float" the primers. I cannot stress enough these should only be printed by experienced gun owners with reloading experience. If there is interest in them, I will create other calibers.
