Reading light switch box mount

A friend of mine gave me this really cool reading light that is on a 15 mm diameter pole with a gooseneck to adjust the angle. I use it in my office to give me more light when I'm measuring items to model. The problem is the switch box on it just dangles and there's no way to mount it to keep it handy. It also has a 5.5 mm barrel connector to power it that keeps coming unplugged. So I figured I'd make a mount that will go around the shaft and allow me to use a couple of zip ties to secure it. Please consider providing a Tip for the Designer as I am on a very limited Social Security income.
