Seeing as I couldn't buy one, I made a custom practice mute for my 5-string Realist Rv5e violin. There is a hole for a metal pin of some diameter that I can't remember now (I made this a couple of years ago and can no longer open the files). It needs to be printed from some (semi-)flexible material (I used SemiFlex, but it's been discontinued) so as not to damage the bridge of the violin and to have a good grip. Also, you'll need to sand it really well in all the channels so it's smooth where it touches the violin. That takes a while with flexible material. It's designed to support itself in the printing, hence the fairly ugly flat head. But hey, it's just for practice sessions at home...
