Rear Active Cooling Duct v2 for FlashForge Creator and Makerbot Replicator 1
thingiverse
I made some significant design tweaks, ensuring a snug fit around both the printer and the cooling fan, eliminating the need for tape - it sticks firmly together now. This redesign also makes installation trickier: you'll want to use a material like PETG or ABS that can bend slightly when placed in position. I improved airflow too; more air flows through the vent now. Designed with a 24V 50x50x15 mm blower fan in mind, check out the original project for details on wiring the fan to the circuit. The fan adds half an inch to the back, potentially colliding with the bed support when starting from home position and moving all the way to the left - I suggest printing a shim for the Y axis.
