Improved rear bed level sensor holder for Anet A8. Designed for tapped holes for secure mounting. **Requirements** * **M3x0.5** cap screws. 8mm long. * **M3x0.5** bottoming tap. * **M4x0.7** metric round head screws. 5mm long. * **M4x0.7** plug tap. **Assembly** 1. **!! IMPORTANT !! -- Tapping the bearing blocks** **DO NOT TAP FROM THE WRONG SIDE!!** Tapping from the **WRONG SIDE** will result in cross threading the existing holes! This would make the bearing blocks not secure for hotend mounting! Tap M4x0.7 from the **FRONT** using the existing threads and tap **THROUGH** the bearing blocks all the way through to the back. See attached image. 1. Tap the four clip mount holes with the M3x0.5. Be careful not to tap too deep and split (or strip) the part. If this happens, print another part and try again. 1. The rest of the assembly should be straight forward and self explanatory. **Firmware configuration** Due to the altered sensor position the following changes have to be done in the configuration.h file. For E3Dv6 mount / carriage: ``` #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 51 ``` With the stock carriage: ``` #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 26 #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 51 ``` Additionally for all setups: ``` #define FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 51 ```
