This is a remix of nick_nugget's Canon FD rear lens cap (updated). I'm mostly sharing this so others can use the same idea for their lenses, but since the 50 f1.8 is so common, I figured someone would probably need this one specifically. I used nick_nugget's design and added the lettering in Tinker Cad. (Tinker Cad has a text feature, but I didn't like their font options. I just used Photoshop to make an image of the text, then used a free online converter to change the .jpg into a .svg which can be imported into Tinker Cad.) I chose to print in two colors, but obviously that's not required. I printed right side up (letters on top), which required supports.
