Rebel Pilot / Tie Fighter Pilot - Comm Pad

I started with AprilStorm's Comm Pad and reworked it just a bit. I separated the buttons so it can be printed for the the dark or light side of the force. I compared this to the current resin version that 501st peeps are using and figure this is an improvement in all ways. Cleaner, color is more even etc. Easy to add hollows for electronics if needed.

Instructions

The Rebel version prints as one piece in white. The Tie Fighter version is a lil trickier. You can print in black and give gray paint job or vice-a-versa. Printed easily on a Rep2 or Rep2x. Med settings .20mm layer height using Makerware. I created custom supports that snap away easily after printing.

Rebel Version

2x - But1 - Blue

2x - But2 - White

1x - But3 - Blue

4x - But4 - 3 Blue / 1 Red

1x - But5 - Black

Tie Fighter Version

2x - But1 - Red

2x - But2 - Red

1x - But3 - White

4x - But4 - 2 Black / 1 Red / 1 White

1x - But5 - Gray

Note: I did make a dual extrusion version to print the black/gray in one piece but isn't the cleanest result - the areas where the colors meet isn't as sharp as I like even with a well tuned machine.
Category: Props
