Number 1 of 5 for Gyrobot's Extruder Week. Like the original, only base mountable at 50mm hole pitch which is Wades compatible. Quick-Fit version here. There is a slot for an M6 captive nut so you can add your own hotend or use the Recreus style one. Full filament support after the MK7 gear wheel allows a PTFE tube insert to be added down into the hotend for flexible filament printing. If using an M6 all metal hotend mounted directly into this extruder then a 40mm cooling fan mounted on the front face blowing air over the hot end heatsink is a requirement. Drill out hole if inserting a PTFE liner. Extruder : Insert M6 captive nut for hot-end. Insert M5 captive nut for tensioner.
