For the tank figure I used it for its purpose sending propane into the grill to set fire. For the disk I used it for regulating the temperature of the grill. I added to the surface of the disk by putting the "needle" in the middle of it. For the channel slot I used them to prop up the side tables on the side of the grill. For the latch I used it as a lock on the lid of the grill to lock it shut. For the radial swing block I used it a hook for the grills utensils. For the plate i used it as the tires for the back two legs of the grill.
