A story set in an Orwellian Dystopia with gun control and no police; a company called Deleted Defense made a pistol design for the common man; one that could be made with a laser-cutter as well as 3d printer, or even a paper-template glued to 3mm materials for hack-sawing, but the truth behind the design is the plot-point and title; __The gun is designed to fail by a leftist to be the death of the right-wing user via blowing apart like a shrapnel grenade, and also kill the gun's intended target via the slug itself...__ The Protagonists figure it out while planning to assassinate the President, and instead resort to sling-bows to assassinate the tyrant-in-chief... only to be found, and shot in a firefight where they're outgunned. Project was canceled because the producer got scared by how close to reality the world has become in the 18 month COVID quarantine production Halt.
