I got a red dot finder with a telescope - don't even know what this mount is properly called though it seems common. Looks a lot like a "Celestron Star Pointer" but is not branded. I have some large Celestron 20x80 binoculars that have a 15mm metal rod where the tripod mount connects. This clamp attaches to the metal rod and allows a red dot sight to mount on top of the binoculars. So much easier to get a star in the eyepieces with the finder attached!

25mm M5 nuts and bolts clamp the mount to the binoculars then the wedge slots into the bottom of the finder. You may be able to use an imperial bolt size but just buy the metric. Print the knobs in 0.2 layer height at least, the knurling comes out much better. I printed the mount at 0.3.

(If buying a finder look for one with a larger window, the 20mm circle here is really too small. There are dozens available for airsoft shooters with a flat-topped lens 33mm wide, just avoid the ones illuminated in green.)
