Red Ryder Loop Lever

Red Ryder Loop Lever

thingiverse

This print was designed by me and made in the Microsoft 3D Builder since I am new to Fusion and is still learning the ropes. It was made by placing the existing lever on top of a white sheet of paper and drawing the design with a black sharpie. I then exported the image to the software and used the picture tool to make a basic 3D object. It was after that I had to remove and add a few of the extra bits such as bumps where the piece locks into the frame Currently, it works with pla though it is a bit flimsy with side to side movement and the edges of the print need to be sanded. This is still a work in progress as I am trying to work on it in fusion to bevel the edges and create a smoother object, as well as experimenting with PETG for a sturdier print. Sadly due to me being busy with school, I did not post to Thingiverse after it was created, which resulted in me finding out last month that the Daisy Company has a new Loop Lever design for their red ryder. This However is different and you can still use your existing model (I like the look of mine better)
