Glass solar filters are important to view or image the sun in white light. As there is no matching glass solar filter for the Williams Optics RedCat 51 telescope so far and the smallest available glass filters are still too big, I constructed this simple adapter for glass filters made for apertures from 79mmm - 86mm. The adapter leaves some space to place felt on the inside for a tight fit on the RedCat 51 and to avoid scratches on the telescope.
