Redcat Caldera Axle Hub

Redcat Caldera Axle Hub

This is an axle hub that I made for one of my RC cars, a Redcat Caldera XB 10E. I don't know if this will fit any other cars, but if they do, please let me know in the comments. ***THIS PART NEEDS TO BE PRINTED IN SOMETHING STRONG!!!*** I used ABS when I printed this, because of its ability to be acetone smoothed, and has the added benefit of being able to be acetoned back together if it breaks. I don't know any other filaments that would be able to stand up to the abuse that this part takes. In order to thread the screws into the piece, make sure the whole part, especially the areas around the screw holes, are completely acetoned to eliminate any delamination in those areas. There are right and left pieces, so make sure you put the right one on the right side. EDIT 2019: I have since printed this part in PETG and the results are much better than any ABS print I have done. This piece is wicked strong, and I have used it in the sand and through rough terrain on 3S power with no issues whatsoever. I almost forget sometimes that it is a 3D printed piece and not a direct replacement from Redcat!
