Redmond Multicooker M4502E Latch

I designed a modified M70 latch from MaViRa for my M250E multicooker. Initially, it came into Fusion360 10 times larger than expected, so I scaled down by a factor of 0.1 to correct the issue. In Blender, I shaped the latch to fit snugly into the unit, which likely resolved the scaling problem. As shown in the photos, my printed latch fits perfectly into the multicooker, requiring only minor adjustments to one side to create a wedge shape for easy snapping into place. Later Update: 29 Apr 2019 - I shortened the pins on each end of the latch, eliminating the need for resizing or filing. When inserting the part, be cautious as it may snap in unexpectedly due to a groove on the multicooker designed specifically for this purpose. My previous attempt had deformed and shrunk under heat, so printing with a material more resistant to high temperatures than PLA might be beneficial. Further Update: 17 May 2019 - The modified latch functions well until exposed to steam and heat causes it to warp. I have ordered sample ABS filament and plan to print another version using this material when possible.
