These are custom holders specifically created to house 1"-square proto-boards with plastic-case reed switches. Why would someone ever do such a thing? Read about it here: http://wp.me/p2hTaI-h Instructions There are two versions - the plate is an adjustable version meant to zip-tie onto a 1/2-inch square metal tube, while the other is meant to sit flat on a piece of wood and adjust in a single direction (with slight amount of pivot adjustment). Print either, solder up your proto-board and slide it into the slot. Both allow for the reed switch to orient vertically or horizontally.
