Refrigerator Handle Lower End Cap

This is a lower end cap for the main door of a Whirlpool refrigerator and other brands. You could splurge on the Handle End Cap Kit or just print this thing. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20 mm or finer Infill: 30% Notes: Orient with the business end down as in the STL file for maximum strength. A few of deviations from the original part... I rounded the outer corners of the base because sharp corners look so 60's-ish and I prefer constant widths for printing. Filled in the hollow backside for strength. Filled in the inner plug rather than have two flimsy oval projections. Strike three against built-in obsolescense! Post-Printing The slot is tight. Sand off any burrs on the end of the handle, then work it into the cap. Also trim any bridging incursions at the top and bottom of the arcs until the screw cover fits. I printed this in PLA because it's the only black I have. ABS would be softer and easier to trim.
