I have a KitchenAid refrigerator that takes the Every Drop Filter 2. These filters are expensive but cross-reference with Whirlpool W10413645 and W10413645a which are much more affordable. The problem I ran into is that the replacement filters do not accept the EveryDrop socket that came on the original filter. The recessed nature of the filter in the refrigerator makes removal difficult. This socket fits the grooves of the replacement filters and makes removal and installation a breeze.
