This is a wall cup adapter for the Regalo Easy Step Extra Wide Metal Walk-Through Safety Gate (baby gate). It allows you to place the gate against a newel post and does not require screwing into the post. I suggest adding some soft material, such as felt, between the piece and the post in order to avoid marks on the post. The width dimensions can be modified according to the width of your newel post (I've also attached the Sketchup file).
