This is a Hollow Actuated Collector Drum. The regolith Slides over the freshly scooped regolith allowing for the elimination of internal Baffling. A seal actuator section allows for a simple Pressing action from the RASSOR system to actuate the Slats from Open to closed position. Springs force the actuator to a default closed position.
