This is a modified hopper version of Lymans v3 filament extruder. This hopper and mount is designed to use a single large bearing (40mm OD x 17mm ID x 12mm width) reducing the need of additional parts and utilize a Zero-Max torque limiter to prevent failures of both the expensive gear motor and the printed hopper/base. No more breaking your couplers! Included is the motor mount adapter for the superdroid gear motor, or use an aluminum plate. FYI: This was the largest and longest duration print I have personally successfully achieved! Instructions I printed at 100% infill using ABS with raft and support. Since this is designed for the large bearing just design and print an auger adapter to fit the 17mm ID bore. ABS is the best choice due to the ability to easily fuse repairs and vapor polish if needed. I added a 2mm bottom anti warp plate in the design, this helps but does not fully eliminate ABS warping. 100% infill also helps. Expect post print grinding, sanding.
