We shall prove ourselves in glorious combat! This is a great statuette to have along side you in combat. Bring the hammer down on your enemies and justice will prevail! Printed in Copperfill Print Settings Printer: FolgerTech i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Notes: Supports are only needed for the hand and cod piece, but I originally printed this with supports everywhere. This will consume a ton of filament, so make use of any support settings you may have. I used Simplify3Ds support settings to increase support density 3 layers away from the part to save filament. 5 top and bottom layers were used with 4 layers on the walls. The extra layers along the walls help with print strength and so you do not accidentally sand through the walls. Be careful when using metal based filaments. Heat creep can jam your extruder, so make sure to print at a sufficiently high speed to prevent jamming. Post-Printing Be careful removing supports around the cod piece, and the left leg. Too much pressure can slow break each off. Caution is also advised on the helmet, as the "horns" can also break off. Started with 200 grit sand paper, and need files to rid major print lines. Moved to 300, 400, and then 600 sand paper. Polished the surface with 1600 grit sand paper with wet sanding. Kiwi black show polish was used to accent the piece. The hammer is printed in two pieces. Sanding of the hand is required to fit the hammer pole through Reinhardt's grip. Once the pole can slide through, then the hammer head can be glued in place. How I Designed This Used a combination of Source Film Maker, Crowbar, Maya, and lots manual mesh repair.
