Rekon 5 Matek 5883 GPS and ViFly GPS Mate mount

This design hold both a ViFly GPS Mate and a Matek 5883 GPS w/ compass, and was made for the Rekon 5, but will work with any frame where the rear standoffs are ~14 - 18mm apart. I much prefer spending the extra $10 for a GPS with compass and vastly better performance. That said, other GPS units of similar size may fit with some modifications. Once mounted, wrap the GPS Mate with some clear shrink tube for added protection. The SMA Mount was designed to provide a little more for wires and battery leads, and to elevate the antenna further. Its stuff but will flex in a crash, helping to protect the antenna.
