Relay Housing for PSU Control

Relay Housing for PSU Control

thingiverse

I created this housing for two Relays controlled by the Raspberry Pi running OctoPi. One relay toggles a simple desk lamp, the other one let's me remotely turn on/off the printer's PSU. This is very practical if you're like me and a bit concerned about the PSU running all the time if not turned off manually. I use OctoPrint's action events to automatically turn the PSU on when starting a print and turning it off in case a print fails and when a print job is done. One hole is for the thick AC cables, the smaller one for the controls wires from the RaspPi. The housing probably only really works for my relay layout. They're zipped together with cable ties leading out the AC wires to one side while the control wires are soldered to a PCB and then lead out through a different hole in the housing.
