I needed a portable 12v supply for a Rolling Plotter I am designing & the instructable Pat Kalahar came up with looked perfect except I wanted to mount it to V-Slot. I redrew it in fusion 360 & added mounting bracket to match my project. I reoriented the display panel 180 degrees from original since I am mounting this in a different orientation. Section cuts with battery & panel installed looks like it should fit with that change. I have not printed it yet, but thought I would upload since it is fresh in my mind. I overlaid the STL files of original design & this one in openscad & they seem to be good. Does look like it needs a fair amount of support to print with all the overhanges. Looks to be about a 4 hour print, so I will wait until closer to my parts delivery before printing in case I change my mind about which design to use. I found this other design after finishing this rework which also has a USB plug. I ordered the USB & bluetooth module so I might add a place to put the USB board. Here is the build log to the Rolling Plotter I am designing: https://openbuilds.com/builds/a-rolling-plotter.9207/
Category: Electronics
